Our Mission
Proudly serving adults with brain injuries moving toward independence through a residential community. We foster social, psychological, and spiritual rehabilitation. Committed to an emphasis on the individual as well as to community integration, we utilize each member’s unique gifts in the day-to-day operation of the program and also organize outside activities of special interest.
We, as residents of Building Bridges, pledge to:
- Support each other as we realize our potential and contribute to the community in which we live.
- Celebrate the human spirit and the dignity and worth of each individual.
- Encourage each other to progress from injury to wholeness and to discover and use our gifts for a second beginning.
- Assist persons with acquired brain injuries and their families, as well as other programs that serve people in need.
- Make available to them all aspects of our program regarding the philosophy, structure, and the financial basis of the Bridge.
- Serve as a model for hope and change.
